Q: How old do I have to be to purchase a firearm on the internet?

A: You must be 18 or older to purchase a long gun and 21 or older to purchase a handgun.

Q: I would like to buy ammunition with my order. Can they be shipped with my gun?

A: No, Ammunition and Firearms must be purchased and shipped separately

Q: How do I return an item I have purchased?

A: We do not accept returns

Q: Can you call my FFL and tell them to send you their documents?

A: It is the customer's responsibility to contact the Dealer to have them send over the information and proper documentation.

Q: How can I get a hold of you?

A: The best way to contact us at FWT is through email or our online Chat. you can email us anytime at sales@fwtguns.com with your questions. We're able to keep our costs low by using email and chat as our preffered method however you can call 716-240-4719 between the hours of 9AM-Noon Mon-Fri EST. Please do not leave a voice mail message. We get hundreds of voice mail hang ups and fax machines calling us. We are not able to retreive voice mails. Send us an email or reach us on chat.

Q: Why are your phone hours limited?

A: We've limited our phone hours to keep our overhead low and pass that savings on to you. After Noon each day our staff switch to shipping your orders. (Please do not leave a message) Due to the high amount of fax machines and hang up messages we recieve we do not check voice mails. Only call during the listed hours however you can email us 24 hours per day.

Q: I placed the order, now where is my stuff (Firearms)?

A: We cannot process your order UNITLL your FFL documentation is in our hands and it's been verified. Once we receive that, we will ship your item. When ordering regulated products such as firearms and ammunition. Please keep in mind it does take time. There are many rules and regulations that must be followed which add time to the over all process. It is not uncommon for some regulated products to take several weeks to ship. If you need your item immediatly please visit your local firearm shop where I'm sure they can help you.

Q: How many people work at fwtguns?

A: There are 7 of us who process orders, answer customer questions and facilitate FFL documents. We are a small company. Please be patient we are working to process your orders as fast as possible

Q: Do you keep items in sock?

A: We have very limited inventory at our shipping center. We pull our stock, from several large warehouses accross the country. Our inventory feeds are updated every few minutes.

Q: Why are your prices so low?

A: We are in constant negotiations with manufacutres and distributors to help bring the best prices to you. In additon we are able to keep our costs low by having a low overhead operation.

Q: Why does your Voice Mail say Magic Jack sometimes?

A: In order to keep our operating costs low we use a internet phone service. Many companies today use Voice over IP phone services such as google, godaddy, vonage and magic jack. Periodically our online phone system reverts back to it's default message to advertise their service. 

Q: How do I order a firearm?

A: There are only three simple steps:

  • Find the gun you want You pay us directly for the firearm.
  • Choose your FFL dealer (Federal Firearms License): We cannot ship a gun direct to you, we ship to the local FFL dealer of your choice. It is up to you to have your FFL dealer EMAIL OR FAX us a copy of their FFL document WITH your order number referenced. 
  • Pick up your gun: once we recieve the documentation from your FFL Dealer, we then process your order and ship your firearm out.

Q: I placed an order on Gun Broker with your company, what next?

A. FWT's Gun Broker account was comprised in late 2017-Early 2018. Someone listed items under our account. We've tried to resolve any issues customers contacted us about. However, if you're still having issues please email us or send a certified letter to our address with all your information. We are not able to get into our Gun Broker account to look up your order. We encourage all customers who placed an order and did not receive their item to contact their CC company and report a charge back. Please let us know and we will not dispute it. If you sent us a check and it was cashed please send an email to sales@fwtguns.com and inform us that you paid for an item via check and we will issue a refund check once verified. Because GB uses an internal email system, if you've not heard back from us please send us a letter via certified mail.
