Firearm returns:  VERY IMPORTANT Please inspect all firearms thoroughly BEFORE proceeding with the transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you it is considered used, even if unfired.  We cannot provide a refund for new firearms once they have been transferred into your possession. Should you find an issue it is your responsibility to contact the manufacture as FWT does not warranty firearms.  Also, we do not reimburse FFL transfer fees on returned items.  Some manufacturer defects may not be identifiable upon initial inspection, however, upon discovering a defect after the transfer, the firearm must be returned directly to the manufacturer for replacement or repair. If we do receive a defective firearm that has already been transferred, we will simply forward the firearm to the manufacturer on your behalf for normal transfer fees and shipping.  Manufacturer repaired firearms can be returned directly to the customer without additional FFL transfer or associated fees.  However, if the manufacturer chooses to replace the firearm, the replacement firearm must transfer through your local FFL dealer to document the replacement firearm serial number.

Please note that we do not permit the return of the following products:
   1. Special orders and products that are custom configured to your specifications.
   2. Products sold "as is" or "used" or that have been installed or used after receipt.
   3. NFA items that require ATF Transfer after the start of paperwork.
   4. Illumination devices, electronic sights, optics and night vision equipment.

NOTE: We recommend that you use a carrier that offers shipment tracking for all returns, and either insure your package for safe return or declare the full value of the shipment so that you are protected if the shipment is lost or damaged in transit. If you chose not to use a carrier that offers tracking and insure or declare the full value of the product, you will be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping.

The United States Postal Service (USPS) offers limited tracking capabilities and that there is a 30-calendar-day waiting period before USPS will initiate a trace. The customer is responsible for shipping charges both ways on returns, as well as for shipping charges on shipments that are refused.
